La Plata Films is an audiovisual production company based in Derio, Bizkaia, founded in 2026 by Facundo Quevedo and Guido López de Vicuña after more than a decade working in production, production management and locations in the Basque Country, Spain, Madrid and international productions. Silver Service Structure brings that experience together in a service line for other production companies.

Facundo Quevedo

Trained at Madrid’s Pedro Almodóvar Film School, Facundo produced his first feature, Errata, in 2012. After working in advertising with Garage Films and Igloo Films, he managed production on shorts including Amargo era el postre and Regina and contributed to features such as Nora, Érase una vez… Euskadi and Maixabel.

Since 2021 his work has included international series such as Alejandro Amenábar’s La Fortuna and Intimidad. He has led production on three series with Izen and The Clapperboard, including Baby Doll, a UK–Ireland–Spain co-production for Paramount+.

Guido López de Vicuña

Donostia · Buenos Aires

Guido moved from Buenos Aires to the Basque Country in 2002 and qualified in film, television and live-show production. At EITB, he worked on programmes including Vaya Semanita, winner of a 2006 Ondas award, and managed production on fiction series including Aitaren Etxea, Alardea, Go!azen and Itxaso, developed by Mediapro, EITB and Netflix.

He has worked in the production teams of La Fortuna, Detective Touré and the San Sebastián Film Festival. In recent years he has specialised in locations for series such as Desagertuta and films such as Padre no hay más que uno and Ya no quedan junglas.

We maintain a small structure so decisions can be made quickly and directly. For each project, we build the team with department heads, technicians and Basque suppliers we have worked with before, supported by specialist legal, tax and accounting advisers.
